new guy whit old car to rebuild

so ive come here in hope to get many answers and advice.
i just bougth a 78 cordoba whit a 360 4 barrel. its white and rusty.

ive come here to learn a few things and get advice as i rebuild the car this winter,i want to rebuild the car from the frame up.

i want a reliable car that can last many years and to rebuild it so that when i want to have fun it performs.

i want to bring the car back to its former self,while i want to keep the autentic feel the inside will be entirely redone in red and black leather and all the blue carpet be changed by black one.

as for the outside,remove the vinil portion and the side ligths.main paint black,chrome/gold trim and letering and red pinstripes to replicate the oem bleu ones.

and mechanicly something that can perform and be reliable.

as for now ill be disasembling the car down to the frame before winter to keep this winter as a reasembley/restoration period.

welcome,sounds like you got some good plans ahead of you.when you get the chance we always like to see pictures whenever possible.got any questions,there are more than enuf people here to answer them.

This being a Mopar, there is no frame. It is a unibody car in which the frame rails are welded to the body with the body acting as part of the structure. That said, I love Cordobas. The 360 can be built to perform. Good luck!

i see,so to what point can i bring it down?

the car if whole if parts are missing it from the tear down.
