I suppose that was to clear the rack and pinion steering? Looks like a nice job from here.

Looken Good!! I have a few questions for ya. Those SC look like the 2" pri & 3 1/2" col? did have to tweak the tube for the no 1 plug with the ED. heads or did the plug fit? Also did you need to mod the steering linkage or was it just easyer to do to help get them in and out? thanks for the help.

I didn't have to dent any tubes but we did have to modify tube 1 and tube 7 on the driver side 800 to buy the header and 400 to make it fit wow

I sure hope your new ceramic coat headers last longer then mine I had the same headers the coting lasted 6 months..drove it maybe 100mils.washed it drove it in the trailer covered it up got it out in the spring and the headers looked like they were 30yrs. old called the man in charge at Holley and he tells me the coating is not for rust prevention.I told him I had a set from mopar pref that was the first offerd that is on a car that's been drove in snow salt and rain every day for years and still look like new.he says sorry there was nothing he could do.I told him I will let everyone know about there junk.Artie

Hooker headers just don't seem to fit. Mine hit the steering linkage on both sides.
