New girl with a new (old) car. My husband bought me this 1967 Belvedere II for our 24th anniversary last week and told me to find a B body site so I could get some ideas about how to get it in shape. It's supposedly all original except for carpet, tires and the add on Sears air conditioner. Already started fixing some rust issues but it runs and drives and when the brakes get checked out good it's gonna be my cruiser. My husband always builds street legal drag cars and I told him that this one is NOT gonna be a drag car. :tongueflap: It has a 318 with the 2 barrel stromberg carb, 727 transmission. Only pictures I have so far of it and Im so excited about it Ill probably post more as we get it going. Im also including a pic of my husbands latest creation, a 1936 chevy pickup. (He did tell me not to post a chevy on a mopar site, LOL, but Im proud of it too...just afraid to drive it)

Welcome to the site.
Dosen't sound like there is much wrong with it.
Definatley leave the add-on AC. Those units are great and are a very common add-on.

Dash pad can be restored. I had mind done by http://justdashes.com/
Looks like a broken spring in the seat.
A local aphoster should be able to take the skins off and replace the foam and repair any broken springs.
Paint looks good and a rub down and claybar would probably do wonders. Chrome looks good maybe a little polish to brighten it up if you like.
More pics would be really apreciated when you have time.
Always need more car **** around here.

And the Chevy's not bad either but its no MOAPR. LOL

One more. Here you can really see the rust that needs to be fixed behind the rear wheels.

Yeah I'm thinking a claybar won't touch that at all.

Cool to have a cool lady w/ a cool car on the site! Keep that 318 and enjoy the gas milage and a durable car! My lady also wants a Cuda, they always like the expensive ones!! LoL!

welcome, nice to have a female on here to give fresh ideas.I bought my wife a 77 volare premier for our 5th anniversary to match my 76 volare that we used for our honeymoon.

Welcome 67's are GREAT!

From the one interior shot, your A/C unit looks like mine. I do know that mines not a sears unit, but looks the same and in the exact same location. Mine was a listed dealer install option since the factory didn't ship these cars with A/C. I have the order form from the original owner when they checked off the requested options, and all of the A/C literature that came with the unit.

Welcome!! Sweet Belvy!

She (do girls call their cars she or he?? Lol) looks pretty clean, you'll have fun cruising her around!!

BTW i promise i'll try and behave... :)tongueflap: Al )
