This is my 70 road runner it gotten new qtr panels, trunk floors, floor pans, trunk, fenders, roll cage, shaved firewall and finally got painted looking to try and go for a protouring look on this one, we also have a 69 coronet 440 viper yellow w/black. The car is now painted and waiting to get buffed so it can really shine the candy looks so nice in the sun and in the night it looks like the paint is still wet, right now trying to save to buy the billet rims and start building the 440.

that red looks good, can't wait to see it when you get the chrome on her. That yellow also looks good on the coronet.

Nice, both cars. Thanks, I got a 6 pack hood, and was thinking about painting it the same color as the car instead of the usual black.

Blue is my fav., but damn that color looks tits!!!

Keep da pics comin'...we love car ****!!! :icon_pidu:

Btw love the coronet too!!!

the paint on the rr is house of kolors candy red over gold base instead of the usual silver

Those candies are pretty easy to screw up without the right amount of experience to back it up...Gotta say you did a great job..Looks really good! Dig the Coronet as well!!

Nice paint job! Love your 69 bee as well,if I had 2 pick 4 the rims I would go with the top row #2 kinda reminds me of a nicer srt 8 rim. Just my 2 cents.

The car looks great ! Red, roll-bar, Road Runner. I won't comment on the wheels, being old-school, I don't particularly care for modern style wheels, my opinion on them is worthless. Me, I'm happy with chrome-reverse.

Nice paint job and I'm partial to the 69 cause I have two of them. The rims with red in them would look absolutely smoking hot and yes I think the big rims look awesome on the big B-bodies and I love customs over stock any day of the week. More pics please.

thanks

thanks everyone for the comments and opinions, the weld racing drag lites on the bee are mine also so they'll be goin on the rr every once in awhile to keep it old school when we go out to the track. Thanks, again will be looking for my other sd card(lost) where I got all the pics of what it went thru new qtrs, trunk flrs, inner floors, shaved fire wall, roll bar, mini tubs, trunk, fenders, practicly every thing was changed will be lookin for it cant find it

dash painting

heres some pics of the dash and the cage sanded the all the dash smooth an d layed down some candy paint white gauge also and my dad will be making all the black plastics around the gauges, radio plate, and on top of glove box out of stainless steel he can make anything with metal we bought some and sanded it and buffed it and you'll be amazed the way stainless can polish up dads be a metal man for 20+yrs got most of the parts painted except the glove box had a little crack and had to fiberglass it thats why took a little longer

preview with tires

Heres a couple of shots with the 335/30/18 tires on the car still has lots of clearance with the mini tubs just need to relocate the springs in here are some pics i'll post better ones tommorrow, and also my little boys tool box next to his road runner according to him(I dont think so) lol lol

These 335s are huge makes the 295/50/15 looks skinny

Hopefully will order the rims here in a couple months and really set off the look check out the reflection in the candy paint and it still needs to be buffed I love this color more everytime I look at it!!
