When I turn my AC on, I can hear it "click"...but I noticed that lately it keeps clicking on and off. Is it supposed to do this? Could this be a problem with the AC clutch or could it be an electrical problem with my switch under the dash?

BTW, its not cooling right now, but i think it just needs a charge. My car is a 77 cordoba with 400 V8

You probably answered your own question. If it needs a charge, then the pressure is probably low. Depending on what you're working on, there could be a low pressure switch, which would make it switch off and on

It's supposed to do that if the refrigerant is low. You need to get it evacuated & recharged.
