I just picked up this 70 satellite last week , paid $3000 , it had a 318 , someone swapped out a big block 400 from a 73 model car into it , fury or something. It runs and drives ok , needs a complete resto , I have been driving it around a bit , love it! It had Bronco 2 wheels on it , I ordered a set of Fr500's for it , 18x9 and 18x10 , set of conti tires 245x45x18 and 275x40x18 .

Looks great, wow what a difference a wheel makes.

wow 3 grand for running and driving car that looks like that id say you stole it for that price you say it needs a complete resto, whats wrong with it? maybe the pics arent showing the problems cause it looks pretty nice, the only thing i see is that it is missing the upper body trim

It was painted a few years ago I assume but they did a cheap job , painted over dents etc. It doesnt really have a lot of rot , some tiny bubbles on the lower doors and rear quarters, floor pans have a couple of small holes and trunk pan needs a good patch panel . Needs a windshield and a complete interior redo.

Looks good, congrats on the purchase, you got yourself a nice deal there!
I like the wheel choice, although I mighta gone with the polished FR500s, but either way, the wheels really set the car off!

nice looking car,i've always been trying to find a 70 for years.
