I recently aquired a 8 34 2881489 3.91 ratio sure grip cone type rearend center section in a pile of parts I bought. It is taken apart. The sping/ cone assembly is missing. gears are good. I dont need anoughther heavy sure grip sitting here so Im selling, someone with minor mechanical ability would have no problem putting this back together with a few parts I dont have. $ 175.00 Im in wi and this is too heavy to ship. 715 3six7 3430

you can't buy parts for cone style sure-grips.

Not from chrysler, but ebay and others have the spring center parts for about 100 and up. Between what I have and the extras you can have a working suregrip for under 300.00. I have very seldom seen a rearend that inexpensive.

would be interested it and yes you can ship it just a arm and leg to do had my 4:30 489 center chunck ship from ga. it cost me 97 todo it but keep me from driving that far if i pay for ship would you ship it
