Here's a 68 GTX I found here in the Mojave desert. It looks like a B3 Blue with black or dark blue interior. Black plate California car. No engine/no trans. It appears to have a 8 3/4" rearend (Automatic trans car?) I knocked on the house door but no one answered except DOGS. Deep enough bark/growl to keep me from climbing fence for more pics.

I'd keep after that one. probably hoarders that won't sell but you never know till you ask.

Wow, that wouldn't be a bad car if a guy could get it. It does look like they might be hoarders. I can't say anything bad about hoarders though, cuz I get called one all the time. Hey someone has to rescue these cars! Let us know what comes of it. Thinking about that I think I still know where a 69 GTX 440 auto car is sitting. I might need to see if I can peek through the fence and see if it is still sitting there. It used to sit right out on the main street for years. Always wanted to buy it. I guess I better go look.

without question. but at least in the desert it has time to sit. not like back here where it would be sunk to the ground rotting away under some trees.

front end on that gmc truck is looking pretty good too.

looks like its a black plate too

Hmm, good question on the "jimmy". He has a very nice 55 Chev black plate in the yard too. There is a 72 Mach 1, silver, behind the GTX.

Check the 3-wheeler bike, sinkin' into the ground - looks like it hasn't moved in a few years.

Hey super-bee, I tried to buy that car about 4 years ago. He doesn't have the motor, but his father (who lives next door) has a nom 440 for it. I can't remember if it has the trans, but it is an auto car. If I remember right it's missing the front seats (white int.) and console. He told me the car belonged to a buddy who was fighting cancer and was going to leave him the car. Nice guy,but private, and obviously a car guy. Anyway, he didn't want to sell it. Couldn't even get any price out of him. Maybe he has changed his mind. Good luck and hope this info helps.
