I am selling my 66 Belvedere II for one reason, to purchase my father's ZO6. If my wife would let me have two or if I was made of money I would be keeping it. So here are the details:

440 Balanced & Blueprinted
727 Auto in floor
Keith Black Pistons
Hemi Cam
Turbo Actions 3500 stall torque converter (matches Cam)
906 Heads, Ported, Polished, Hardened seats, HD Rockers
9:5-1 Compression
Mopar Performance electronic ignition
H.P. Exhaust manifold (very rare)
8 3/4 rear end
3:54 gears (posi)
Widened rear wheels
No rust or Bondo in car.

The car is located east of Canton Ohio. I would like to get enough to pay for the ZO6, but that isn't going to happen so $13,000 it is. You can see more pictures in the members photo gallery. I will try to post some on here as well.

youre giving up that car ....for a WHAT?....a chevy?...youre kidding me right? because YOUR WIFE SAID THIS AND THAT?.. id be kicking her *** RIGHT OUT THE DOOR!

ILL GIVE YOU $11,000.00 tomorrow for it and ill throw in a free lesson on how NOT TO take any **** from a woman !

Damn!!!!!!

no kidding... screw the z06

i might just buy that belvie just to cruise with. if it was mine id drop a tremec in it and go kick the hell out of the z06

Ok so I have already made a few mistakes by mentioning that other car and blaming the wife, which always makes me feel better. So no need for the free lessons yet tpodwdog, but you can increase your offer a little.

I have a Z06 and my Road Runner. Don't let people talk you out of a C5/C6 Z06 purchase. The C5 Z06 is one of the biggest values out on the market. For 20k. LS6/m12 combination is bullet proof and with 6-8psi from f.i. you're making over 520rwhp in a 3080lb chassis. Just make sure to buy a column lock bypass kit and a good warranty. Had two window motors go out, broken valve spring, (3) column lock dealer ecu reflashes before I wised up, and my starter went out without warning just last week. That is in the past 30,000 miles since I owned it. It was a dealer car. So five times it's left me stranded. Mopar has left me stranded once, but not because of factory parts. Just be prepared for $75-85 oil changes and $1,000+ in decent rubber.

Haha, I love mopars but their is absolutely no possible way he could perform in the same class as even a C5 Z06. 02-04z 12.4@116mph from the factory, gmhp 2004 Z06 11.9@116+ on factory tires and 1+g's on the skid pad. 360-370rwhp in factory trim. It's a fun statement to say though! C6 Z06 are around 440rwhp for reference, stock.

Just like all the newer cars the price you pay for that Vette is way over priced for the junk all made from plastic.real cars have metal bumpers. That Vette will be in the junkyard long before that Belvedere.Just my opinon

yea i know but heck...there is no way in my opinion that the vette looks any where near as good as that mopar. even though the mopar has had some one paint under the hood black like a chevy.

i think it would be a mistake to sell that car to move into a vette. and i have raced the z06 vettes. i was working on those motors long before they where loved.

A Z06 is not your standard corvette. We all love Mopars here, but let's not act like it's an ordinary chevy. It will obviously last ten times longer being built out of composite materials, aluminum, and fiberglass than a steel bodied Mopar. Love the belvedere for what it is, but I give respect where it's due. Try making 370rwhp stock/420rwhp with long tubes and a cam out of a 360 non-stroked a-body and get 30+mpg while running low 12's, high 11's on street tires in stock trim. A 375hp 440 is lucky to dyno 275rwhp in stock trim. my Road Runner has fiberglass bumpers, but I would still call it a "real" car ;)

Sorry original poster, you have a beautiful car and good luck with the sale.

Damn, sounds like a good reason NOT to own one! I like Corvettes but I like the old ones better....and I have never owned a GM product that treated me as well as my Mopars have.....

I wonder if the "OP" is really a "CHEBBY" guy in a MOPAR. The engine bay color is all wrong for a MOPAR. They were always body color. So when I see a nice ride such as yours with the engine bay painted black, I can only be lead to one conclusion...Well you can guess the rest. I am inclined to offer though 10500 for your ride. And that is my final offer....

I am taking some abuse on here...Therapy is starting tomorrow morning. Thanks for the support for the '07 ZO6, it truely is an amazing car with only 13,000 miles on it. But the Belvedere has been in the family for over 16 years. My uncle, had the car painted, motor built, etc. So I had no control over the color of the car, or under the hood. It is a great car, but I can not pass up a great deal on car with 505hp that still gets over 25 mpg. I would not even consider it if it was a Ford.
