Way out of my league but this is one of the cars i would love to own.. Ill say good luck to you Rusty, it is a beautiful car... Id have a hard time selling it if it were mine.. I didn't see the shows you speak of, That must have been a rush all by itself!

Lots of good dialog on the undercoating and yes it is factory. Did any of the Bee's come without the wood grain on the dash? was it an option??
Car is doing well on ebay but nothing ever sells on ebay....
 
The bird

I bought the bird back in the late 90's for 30k. She is a 43000 mile all numbers matching 440 6 pack 4 speed car with only a partial restoration.

wanted one since I was a kid and there was a lemon twist Bird in my home town, always watched the sales price and in the late 90's I watched them jump from 10k to 30k. I knew if I didn't do it then I would never be able to afford one so I took out a loan and found the one I wanted - its funny, I passed up 1 Hemi bird for this one only because I wanted to pistol grip 4 speed. "Who would of known what the values would soar to"

ALL 70 SuperBees had the wood grain dash which was standard

Had a cash offer today from a guy that drove in from Palm Springs, drove the car and drooled over her - He had $25k in cash and I turned him away. So Close, love to haggle but not at $25k.....
 
Was the red bird in the uk at any point? Looks very similar to a car that belonged to a mate of mine
