This is strange Please Help

Well guys/gals I went and bought a water pump for car and this is what I got and called back and looked at a few others and they are the same as this one, but look at car and hose and my old pump was coming off the drivers side, they even checked to see if it is a 340/360 engine, so if anyone can help me on a part number pump I need or any info that will help me would be great. The stat that came out was a 160, should I stay with that or go to another one and witch one. Thanks

I just looked it up and recommends a 1053, but they show them coming off the left, hmmmmmmmmmmm Thanks

I just looked up another few brands and all show going to the left, is there anyone out there that has a 72 318 5.2 and when water pump is mounted on car the large opening faces towards the drivers side as my large hose comes off the bottom drivers side. Thanks

Sorry, the link I sent you doesn't show the part numbers. And it was 907 and 919. I don't know what car you have, but I looked it up for a 67 coronet with a 318 and then clicked on the part number for the pic. Try that and see if it's what you need. It shows me drivers side lower hose.

You need the cast iron pump used on early small blocks. They exit drivers side. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MIL-16251/

Thanks guys, I have one on the way, but had to go with a cardone pump as that was what the auto store deals with, it was a 58176 8 blade I believe. Thanks
