Rodney King will not be down for breakfast

Wow, you 2 guys are something else. The man is dead, let it go, let him have peace.
 
RIP Rodney King, as much as I think he was a "contributory" to the cause of some of the worst violence in Calif. History, he does deserve a R.I.P. he was a humanbeing,... He was found in his pool by his fiancé, I haven't yet seen the cause of death, he had a less than stellar history, drug abuse & crime...
 
I watched Celebrety Rehab with RK. The guy had his own demons aside of what happend in '91. He appeared to be very sincere in getting sober and reuniting with his kids. A follow up showed him to be working the program and staying sober.

I thought he came across as a very genuine but troubled man.
 
He had a long and troubled life. Before and after his date with infamy. Perhaps that it is a saving grace that his troubles are over.

He certainly had the opportunity and at least gave it one small shot.

I hope he did get re-united with his kids, RIP and condolences to the family.
 
Sorry, but I don't have any sympathy for this guy. I've known too many people who had troubled lives through no fault of their own to waste one second feeling sorry for some POS who not only wrecked his own life but the lives of so many others.

I said nearly the same thing this morning. It was truly unfortunate that Rodney was never able to become a guiding light or spokesman for nonviolence and understanding. Not that I could, hardly.

But after all that pain and trouble, it would have been nice to see some good happen from all that pain.
