Yes, cut out the challenger skin, cut the charger hood, dropped the challenger hood in place and went to welding.

Reviving this old thread because I have a '71 Challenger R/T hood to give away. Just putting this out here in case someone wants it before I scrap it.
It is too rusted in the front and underside to be useful for a Challenger but the hood bulge sheet metal is fine if someone wants it for a graft.
Presently its riding around in the back of my truck with other junk for winter traction weight.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I removed the inserts but can include them if needed. I live close to Berne, IN.
