I am looking for a set of vent window frames or complete with glass that are not pitted. I have my originals but they are pitted. I can have them restored, but if I can find a nice set, I will go with them. Thank you in advance. PJ

Any window frame from 68-70 should work.....they are all the same. If you say it's for a 69.5 you might get charged more.

wing vent frames

do you need the glass too? I have a number of sets at the shop and will let you know the condition tomorrow.

I can most probably fill your needs. I am not a business or a wrecking yard. Just a guy with a couple B-body parts cars.

I have absolutely no idea as to their value. I have however discovered if I am trying to sell something it ain't worth nothin' and if I Am trying to buy some item then it is surely made of solid gold. Well maybe that is an exaggeration it is only solid silver. lol

If you're interested I can post photos. Thanks...Bill

Thanks Bill, if they aren't pitted, I am interested. I don't care if they look restored, in fact I would rather them look like 1969 un-pitted, but un-restored originals.

Getting some restored right now, I can see why you'd be happy with some good used originals. Why I still have a wallet is beyond me, don't hold nothin anymore.

Who are you having do them and how much are they charging? I had my first repaint on my car and I never had the underneath done because I want to drive it and race it somemore. I started racing it in 1970 and ran it on both the strip and the street until around 1978. It has been pretty much sitting since then. Thanks PJ

Post, and hard tops as well as convertibles are different frames

I only have the ones that fit hard tops. If you send me your email address (in a pm only) I will send you full size photos of what I have available. Do you want tinted or clear glass I have either. Thanks...Bill

Ogden Chrome, they are local to me. They are charging me $750 which is for every piece on the assembly. They do awesome work and drill out all the "bad" metal and fill with silver solder. It's funny because when I wondered why it is so expensive about two days later I watched an episode of Car Fix on Velocity that went through the entire pot metal rechroming process. Now I get it but it sucks for us that can't deal with some pitting.
