I have a 1967 coronet 500 formerly owned by John Vukovich (Passed 4 years ago) of the Philadelphia Philly's that he purchased in 1966 with a 10k sign on bonus. I have the certi-card along with an enormous amount of documentation on this car that I personally gathered.
This is an original California car and I have personally spoken to John's brother in California about the car this is truly a one of a kind find
The car has had the original 383 rebuilt by Book Racing with 500 break in miles on it. (Approx. 400hp) New aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. New regulator, under hood wiring, water/fuel pumps, alternator 75A, Holley vacuum secondary. Have weiand aluminum intake hasn't been installed yet. TheA833 Trans has a new Hays clutch and pressure plate setup. 8.75 742 limited slip rear with 3.23 gears, adjustable pinion snubber. The 2 ½" exhaust is new with thrush mufflers. New front suspension RMS control arms, all new bushings, torsion bars, shocks, Brakes. Driveshaft has been balanced, Manual steering. Brakes. Inland shifter. The interior is very nice condition.
The engine compartment has been freshly painted, the car still needs to have body work/paint redone. Body, frame and pans are all solid. Not rusted. Original vinyl top
I currently have $17,000 tied up in the car, will take $16000 cash. I am not really looking to sell this car but would like to trade for another car that would be an interesting trade of equal value/preferably an automatic on the floor.
Preferred trades:
1970-1971-1972-1973-1980-1981 Z28 or nice Camaro
1968-1970 Road Runner
1968-1969 chevelle
1970-1975 Trans Am
Chevy, Pontiac, Oldsmobile-what do you have?
Engine right after break in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zQ0y2W1rzo

John Christopher Vukovich was an American third baseman and coach in Major League Baseball best known for his years of service with the Philadelphia Phillies. Wikipedia

hmmm interesting. looks like a nice driver. i dont have anything to trade, but i may be able to get some cash together...

This is a nice car at a reasonable price. No one interested? Once youi see the car you will agree it is worth the money/trade

Dont know if you are into Harleys?I have a 1999 Heritage Springer Classic that is of equal value I might be willing to trade.Tons of custom parts.

I have a 1979 z28 I am restoring right now.. actual resto-mod.. Putting a 4.8l Ls1 style engine in it and 4l60e trans. I expect it to get decent gas mileage and still be fairly quick. The factory sbc 350 that came out was rated at 190 bhp..LOL
T-top car.. value is 17500 from NADA in OEM form....
Is it in the same class as your car? Hardly if you ask me. It will be for sale when I am done with it. It needed floor work and two small patch panels on the front of the rear quarters. Its has sound deading material as well I installed. Its not completed yet, I am still working on the dash and havent painted it yet or installed the engine. Its all sitting here and I am working on it. Its a triple black none ac car.. true z28
I'd love to have your

I really want to stay away from projects, very minimal work i don't mind. A nice 79z28 is up my alley tho.

I wouldnt offer it until its complete and tuned, just throwing it out there.. It should be done here in a short bit... Hotchkis upgraded sways w/sfc's. It will be a nice little car when its done. Its getting the seats from my 99 Camaro SS in it as well. Power drivers side is nice..LOL Going to be black again.. I already have the gm coded deltron paint for it

The car sounds nice, but i don't care for the motor/trans combo, its the same as my silverado. I will have to pass on this.

LOL 2001 Silverado is where the engine came 32k on it from a freinds truck from but the trans is from a 2002 trans am and the rear gears are 3.73 ( rear is from a 4-speed) and its has a nice little cam and stall in it. Should be a nice combo. I have the orig th350 from the z here as well... but for better performance the 4.8 with the gears and 4 speed auto and small cam and stall should be just fine. the 3 speed auto and those gears dont work out well for gas mileage but your welcome to it if thats what you want. Its to easy to put together..LOL
The 4.8 and 5.3 are the same block just different stroke. I could make it a 327 if you really wanted the car but the engine is great the way it is. Stock ls1 crank and rods is all it takes and a hone job.

...for the record...and to clear things up.....theres no such thing as a " NICE CAMARO "

BUT THATS A NICE CAR YA GOT THERE. ID KEEP IT!

Think i'll have to pass on the camaro, but i am still looking for some sort of sports car.

Time to :angryfire: it and collect the 18k-you know how the electrical is in these things.
