I'm having a hard time finding nice OEM fenders for my 69 project. How many differences are there (other than marker light) in 68 fenders? Has anyone here done this? I'm sure the marker lights would be simple, but would like to know if there's anything else to consider before getting used 68s.
Thanks in advance!

I think there are no other differances... just round or rectangular marker lightfrom 68 to 70. I put new rear quarters on mine and it was the same part number from 68 to 70 also... they just said you would have to modify for the insert on the 70.....
Hold off though on your purchase and make a trip westwards next month to the Mopar Nationals near "East of" Columbus, Ohio.... You'll find lots of options for your project!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a front fender @ Nats for my R/R many years back for 15 bucks!!!!!!!!!!! I walked in,,, it was the first swap spot I came to and there it was.... Just one fender and the correct side!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes!!!! I said sold, and looked at my buddy and said, "well, now what?" That's the whole reason I went!!! LOL!

I was just the opposite, was tripping across 69 fenders looking for clean 68 fenders. There out there need to just keep checking here and moparts.

I think there is also some minor difference in the headlight bucket area, extra screw hole or some $hit.

Yes and everyone i talked to said to find some OEM ones as the AMD fenders fit like crap.

So AMD fenders are no good? I thought they had the best fenders and metal parts on the market? That worries me now.

Hey check with my friend at Muscle Car Connections

http://www.musclecarcreations.net/

I know he has a 68 maybe a few 68s parts cars. I also think he has a few 69 plymouth B body cars.

So email him and call him. He will shoot you straight and wont sugar coat anything and is good to deal with.
