Ok guys I have had this yearning to own a 68 charger since I was just a little kid and am hopping to find one before too long. So to get to the question do you think its possible to get one of these cars to handle , ride and brake like a modern car like a new challenger for example? I know it will be costly but how would a person start to go about this? What would you suggest for a suspension?

Thanks

Check out protouringmopar. Lots of guys that are driving their cars. Your best bets are Hotchkis, and Altercation from Reilly Motorsports. The altercation is just the Troy but they also have their street links kit for the rear. Hotchkis is stock style torsion bar and woks great. Altercation and street links is coil overs and a four bar rear.

For brake you can do viper calipers or wilwoods with large rotors. I am trying to get Kore3 to do a set up for Mopars with the PBR Z06 calipers.

For the viper set up check out AR Engineerig and Dr. Diff. Dr. Diff also has a couple of cobra set ups.

Find an event that Hotckis will be at and take a ride in Dan's Roadrunner or the Hotchkis Challenger. That will tell you if stock style will suit you or if more exotic (altercation, XV Motorsports, unlawfully racing) is more what you want.

i have magnumforce tubular front end and magnumforce 4 link rear end in my 68 charger with power steering power brakes on 13" wilwood discs and frame connectors, 17x 8 front wheels and 18x10 rear, handles better than my friends 2010 bmw
