Will TTI headers clear the torsion bars, and the full size starter on my 67 Coronet with a 318 and would it be best if I got the whole exhaust system from TTI?

tti

thats pretty much a tti question on the fitment. mine fit like a glove from them. as for the rest of the system, they are not cheap but good.
i used theirs front to back, 3", except the cut outs and i am very happy with it.:headbang:

also

i did put a mini starter on, McRobb. not the cheapest but highly appraised.

Thanks alot guys, TTI it is. Will call them today as soon as they wake up. Day will be half gone here in NY by then. Dave

I too have the TTI's, front to back--3-1/2" collectors to 3" X-pipe exhaust. One slight complaint: Though the headers work beautifully and fit like a glove, the mini-starter is a must (the headers won't fit using the stock starter on a big block--don't know about a 318) and the resulting clearance is only about 1/2" from the nearest tube to the bottom of the starter. When you stop the engine, the heat from the header soaks the starter and eventually will destroy the windings. I finally wrapped the mini-starter with a heat shield and the horizontal portion of the header tubes with DEI header wrap to solve the problem (after these pic's were taken). TTI denies getting complaints about this, though I know others have contacted them.
Good Luck;
Bob
