Well I finally took my charger to the track after after a few years in the garage.
Put a new 500 ci. stoked 440 in.
Kit is from 440 source.
Heads are Eldelbrock's 84 cc''s
Holley 750 hp
Performer RPM intake
Comp .550 lift cam
Stock ignition
Hooker Super Comp Headers
727 trans built with the good stuff
3.91 gears
Mickey Thompson I tires

As you can expect it spun off the line and at the 1/8 mile mark it ran out of fuel nosing over.
It still ran a 12.3@111mph in the 1/4 mile.

Got the car home and took out the 5/16 fuel line and put in 3/8 inch line.
Looking forward to going back to the track.
Also I have installed a tach.

Good luck with the upgrades.. Hope you'll update everyone..

The ignition is electronic, just up-graded from later years.
No sticky tires, they must be 15 years old.
This is the car I should have been building for the last 20 yrs.
I got involved in a-bodies.
Hopefully this winter she will get a new paint job.
I was going to go to the Friday Night Drags today but here in Woodburn Or. it's going to be 100 degrees today.
So I'm going to wait till next week.
The tire's are N 50 15's.12 inch wide

Cars been in a temp contolled garage and gets driven every once in a while

What was your 1/8 mile et and mph ? Oh and congrats ! Ron

Sounds like some easy 11s coming.Sounds a lot like my build but I have ez,s and a solid roller cam with a little more lift.

Sounds like you are heading in the right direction. I have MT ET drag radials 275 60 r 15s on my 67 they hook up and fit in the wheel well. Good luck and have fun.

383man I can't seem to find the time slips for the run but I know the 60 ft time was 1.94
and if I remember right the 1/8th mile time was 6.9? sec.
It was good up to the 1/8 th.
If I can get the 60's down to the 1.50's with good tire's it will get the 67 into the 11's

That cant be the 1/8 as 6.90 in the 1/8 is like 11.0's or 10.90's. I rember my 383 Dart ran 12.30's and I believe it had a 7.90 1/8. But your 60 is bad and hurting you as my 12.30 Dart had the 60's in the low 1.70's. You get that 60 down in the 1.7's and you are running easy 11's. Good luck , Ron

Ron,
Next time I take the 67 to the track I'll give you the numbers.
I'm going to order some sticky tire's and have corrected the fuel problem.
I know the car nosed over at the 1/8 mile mark.
With 512 ci., sticky tire's,SS springs and the frame tie'd,I should be able to get the car somewhere into the .50's on the 60 ft.
512 ci. has a lot of tq. to get me off the line.

I'm usually a better book keeper with my time slips.
Next time at the track will give me better info and I will pass it along.

Ron,
Took the charger back to the track.
Put in 3/8th's fuel line,75 gph pusher pump to the 110 gph mechanic pump.
Added a line lock.
Hoosier QT Pro's 11x15x 11.5 tire's

Car ran a best of 11.93 stumbling off the line because of fuel slosh.
113.35 mph
60 ft time of 1.773

Next I'm going to a bigger carb and a cross over on my vents.
