So, I've lived in the same house for 23 years. The little old lady who lives next door has a Son who periodically visits her and stops by to see the latest Mopar in my shop.
So two weeks ago, he stops in for a visit and tells me that he knows where theres a 69 Superbee in his neighborhood and that its been sitting in the same spot for 10+ years.

He stopped by a week later saying he knocked on the owners door and asked to see it. Not quite sue what to look for or at, he asked me to give it a once over, which I did today.

That I found.. A super solid Bee WM23,
-Minor bubbling at the bottom of drivers door and trailing edge of th front fender
-A bit of bubbling beneath the vinyl top.
- a little scaling rust under drivers side carpet
- extremely solod trunk pans and floor pans
- all frame work is perfect
- all chrome is drivers quality if not better
- inner fenders super solid
- Interior is exceptionally in good shape with exxeption of 2 dash cracks, and dry rotted carpet
- I pulled the back seat and low and behold 70% of the build sheet in about 10 pieces. Enough to piece together.
- The matching numbers 383 was punched 30 0ver with a 509 lift cam sounded very healthy with the relatively old gas. (hes added high test periodically to keep it froma going bad)
- The four speed is all there
- The owner told me it used to be a bucket seat ca5 but put a nech seat in from a Coronet
- all glass is perfect
-Tires are checked and cracked on the sides
- Probably no brakes from sitting and saw one front wheel oozing grease or brake fluid
- All guages and lights even the horn works
- Drum brakes but power steering
- Probably needs shocks and rear leafs.

I've never seen this hood but I kind of dig it.

My neighbors son Offered him $10k (all he has) a week ago and the owner is considering it. The current owner has had it since 1978.
What do you guys think its work based on my description.

Here's the kicker..John, has not asked his wife if he could buy it yet. If He is prevented form buying it, I'm next in line.... BUT - Same problem.. 3 cars only 2 car garage... My Coronet 440 is getting painted and has about 3 weeks left.. I might have to sell it and lkeep this other Bee..

Here are a few pics of the Bee today.. What do you think its work,, THERE IS NO BONDO ANYWHERE....

If he can't buy it and If I do buy it... it may be for sale but in a really quick way to be able to pay the paint shop for my Cor0net 440.

Picture looks good. Besides the few issues from sitting, sounds like you can have a decent ride for 10k.
