My 69 Coronet 440 is getting color this week.

I'm stuck on F3 Light Metallic Green
or
F5 Medium Metallic Green.

The interior is Green, Carpet with be black.

Ahhhhhhhh, I soooo Confused..

Post your choices below please..

I have a F3 Charger that I am thinking of changing to something more vibrant - having a hard time deciding though. So I vote to go with the F3 so I can see what it looks like with new paint. Seems like alot of the F3 cars have been candidates for color changes.

Where can I find Cranium? or how? Or can you direct him here?

His name is Richard Cranium...aka, well he's got a bunch of aliases. anyways, that was a little sarcasm on the part of M&M. Dickie loathes the color green. he's the resident hater-in-chief (of green anyways!). lol

my pick? bright blue metallic. :laughing11:

i would think a darker exterior than what you will have in the interior would look good. an F-8 with a bit of flake in it perhaps??

i would think the darker f5 with the black carpet would match better.light inside, light out.dark inside, dark out.rule of thumb i normally go with.

I like green. Reminds me of Money.I think a dark forest with a hint of mettallic is killer

Yeah, you caught me. I was just bein' a bit of a smart azz! Was hopin' to get a rise out of Cranium!

Years ago there was a cat strolling around town in a '68 net in F8 Dark Poly green. Honestly it looked great on the car..I was stunned being i'm not huge on green.

Good luck whatever route you go.

F8 all the way.

I think F8 with black interior looks killer! I've seen it on a few '67's and those especially look good because of the contoured side panels, but on the '69 it would look good too.

I've seen a few '69's in F3 and if they are original single stage paint that's oxidized they look pretty rough. However, I've seen an F3 '69 that was super shiny and looked darn good at a car show. I asked the owner if he cleared it. His reply was, "Nope, it's the original single stage paint. I just took some 1000 grit sandpaper to it over a few weekends then polished the hell out of it!" Polishing can do a lot for a paint job. You may want to try that on your current paint first if there aren't too many dents or rust spots and see how you like it. If you still don't like it, then go for the F8!

f8 isn`t bad either:headbang:

F8 i would prefer if me, if i can get the metallic, which im sure you could but i do agree F3 Light Metallic is nice to! This is like picking wheels, VERY difficult with them now a days, sooo manyyy to choose from!

My 73 340 Rallye Charger was F1 Mist green. Never seen another one. It was beautiful. At least it was to me.

Boy,if you can remember as some of us do Ford and Chrysler must have gotten a discount on light green metallic in 68 and 69. I remember seeing more of that color on lots and on the street back then. Not my favorite color as we had two of them back in the day. I'd go with the darker green IMO.
