Hello, I'm still searching for trans linkage for my '66 Satellite with automatic console, 727.:angryfire: Please help! I've finally got the newly rebuilt engine running but I can drive it with no shifter linkage!
I've got the verticle shaft from the console but need everything that attaches to the tranny arm. Kick-down linkage would be cool too.

Thanks for any leads, Ian

Take a look at this Photo.....

The bracket that holds the torque shaft will fit from all floor shift cars including any Abody. The lower rod you should be able to manufacture something till your able to find the proper one.Its the Kick-down rod you really need to worry about, without that you'll smoke that trans in no time....and not just anyone will fit you need to have all the proper bends and length as to get the proper throttle ratio. If someone here has the proper one and took a pic that would at least help you know what one you're looking for. Sorry i have nothing in the way of parts to help you ... just a little info.

Does it need to be a stock linkage (to keep the car original)? If not, call Bouchillon Performance. They do a lot of stuff with modified trans linkages - and cables to replace the linkage mess. I know they have a kickdown replacement and may have a good idea about a shifter part... Good luck!

..............i would have all u need, i'll check my storage..........what motor and trans..........2 or 4bbl..............kim......

The motor is a 383 four barrel, and the trans is a 727.

There are two different brackets for the rear of the trans for the vertical torque shaft be sure you get the correct one

Google Wild Cat Auto Wreckers in Oregon, talk to Matt.He hooked me up with linkage for a 67 column shift. They may have floor shift parts you are looking for.
