For a while now I've been contemplating more power for my 1969 charger,
I've settled with cam and heads, after doing research I think it's the best root for more power without loosing ANY drivability,

A member here LXMODGUY ( Brian ) pointed me in the right direction with the parts, I'm going to be using his sleeper cam in conjunction with Dave weber ported heads and ported intake.

I will be posting results as soon as I get the parts installed.
I've had my 6.1 since 2005 I was what I believe the first charger to do 6.1 in a 1969 charger.

Since then I've road raced it, drag raced it and drove it around pocono NASCAR speedway @ 130mph.

I've lived with the power for close to seven years now, and I'm finally comfortable with my direction I'm taking ( although) I might say I'm nervous since my car works well.......

For you guys that don't know here Is the car....

I like it......alot!! Brian is a good guy, he full of info for the 3g hemi's.

I think I have seen your car before. I took a trip up to New York about 6 or so years ago for a show at XV motorsports. At their showroom right on the hudson river. If it wasn't yours, it was its twin. Sweet *** ride btw

Go figure Xv has an open house for there new 6.1 Hemi transplants and here I am with one all done

Your Charger is one of my favorite cars with the GIII swap. Very inspirational to my project. Good luck with your mods and keep us posted on how it turns out.

Thanks for sharing.

I am looking forward to it. It took a little convincing, but I am sure he will be impressed with the results. The cam alone elevates the motor to 6.4 output levels. The heads and intake do a great job making it breath up top. The combo is typically good for 100+ wheel horsepower.

Well trust me fellas, I have done a ton of research!
Ovrchrgd is a true driver / performer.
From the beginning I never set out for it to be a quarter mine demon, but wanted a well balanced car that could handle, stop and launch like a top performer should.
I put my faith in Brian " lxmodguy" and Dave weber from modern muscle.
There's a lot of stuff for the genIII hemis now and feel confident in my decision!

Like I've said before I have road raced, drag raced, and auto crossed it! A lot of us build these machines and don't use them after putting a ton of $$ in them, we improve the brakes suspension, interior , and Motors but somehow we always find ourselves not challenging our builds.

:VB toast::VB toast: to all you fellas that use them and still caress them,
After all what's it like to sleep with a super model and never bang her?

Will be updating soon!
