Spent the weekend installing an Alter K suspension I purchased awhile back from a member here. I finally got it back from the body shop and now I can finally put it in.

It looks easy, but there are some things that you will need to have to install this suspension.

A lot of things were done between the pictures.
Assemble of the Spindels, rotors and brakes.
Cutting off the bump stops on the frame.
Drilling the 4 extra holes for the New frame
Cleaning and applying POR 15 to the frame area
Retapping of all the 4 Bolt holes the Alter K bolts up from underneath.
Bead blasting and painting of all the Parts and bolts that are needed to from the the old K member.
Measuring and test fitting to alignment on the upper A arms.

This not a one man project. We installed the K member a half dozen times during the mock up, then we removed everything to clean up the clean up the area and paint.

Removing the steering column is also a part that is not shown. That was done 3 times to get our measurements, cutting it, and then final assemble.

looks good,
i had the same battle when i put the magnumforce one in my 68 charger.
i almost bought the alter k, but then found magnumforce and personally the magnumforce looks much stronger and seems to be engineered a bit better. but thats just my opinion as i see alot of people run this one.

looks very nice though

looks very nice.good to hear and see someone doing it right.let us know how it drives for sure.

It'll be awhile before i get it on the road.
I'm in a mad rush to put as much of the car together before I go back overseas next month.

Well its about time you got it installed, glad to see it worked out for ya......looks bitchin'!!!!

Iraqivet- Sure, it probably was alot of mock up, cutting, prepping, etc but you sure got one heck of a BAD A$$ ride now.

P.S Be safe going back.
