Okay, so I'm doing the 440/727 into a 65 belvedere thing using the Schumacher mounts, tti headers, etc and I had a couple of questions.
1. Can I use later b-body column shift linkage with my 69 727 and 66 b body column?
2. Does anyone make an engine wiring harness set up for a mopar performance electronic ignition set up?
3. What is the drive shaft length for this car with aforementioned trans set up?
4. I'm using 73 and later a body disc brakes with a dual reservoir master cylinder and I have to replace all the brake lines. Does anyone make a kit for my car?
Well, I suppose that is enough burning questions for tonight. Thanks so much guys for the help! I'm having a great time getting schooled on my first early b body on the site! Cheers, Cory

1. Not sure.
2. Got me on that one too.
3. Gonna have to measure.
4. No brake line kit available for that set up.....get some hard line and go to town. I did, and it turned out great.

Yes on #1 you will have to locate, drill and bolt the cross shaft bracket to the frame rail. Doing the same on a 65 Belvedere. If you need linkage,I got ours from WildCat auto wreckers. Call/E-mail and ask for Matt.
#2 Mopar Performance Control wiring harness kit for electronic ignitions # P3690152

Check finelines and inline tube websites. They have brake line kits and options for ss or std line as well as single or dual reservoir on the mc. Prices I think ranged $150-180 for the kits.

1. Find the linkages in a salvage for the year column, might need to do some engineering on them to make them work, or go the easy route and put a cable floor shifter in.
2. I know a place in Conway, AR that can make wiring harness
3. Measure and have one made
4. Brake line aren't that hard to make ( tubing, tubing bender, and a flaring tool)

Thanks Iraqivet! Always good to hear from a fellow okie!(I'm from Tulsa). Anyway, here is what I found out so far. In line tube makes full brake line kits for early b's and you can buy the dual master cylinder lines separately. I can use other b body column shift linkage with slight mods. Also, I bought a trans and c body drive shaft today. I'll just cut it down after I get the measurement. Also came across a lokar kick down cable which I think I am going to use. And lastly, I found out that the company that makes year ones wiring harnesses is out here near me.(long beach). I think I'll be calling them Monday to see what they have. Thanks all for the info. I really appreciate it.

If I remember correctly, all the mopar B-bodies use the same position for the trans mount. An A-833 4-speed is the same length as a 727 and while the rubber mount is different, it fits the same transmission mounting position. If you use a later 727, you will need the conversion trans mount to fit it to the 62-65 trans mount bracket. This is available from both Bouchillon and Imperial Services, I believe and its urethane. Since the 65 came with an RB engine (426 wedge) and a 727, any stock driveshaft from a B or RB ( 361, 383, 426) engined car should bolt in as all of them had a 727 auto (no 904s on big blocks). This may save the cost of a custom driveshaft. Hope this helps.
