69 1/2 A12 440 six pack is my all time favorite car. Ever. The other years are all an equal close second.

Agreed. Was there when they came out-no car intro (including the Daytona) produced such a buzz on the street. Pretty much everyone lived in fear of racing one at the time.

I just can't get enough of the 71-74 body style... so I'm in the minority voting for the '71. That's not to say I don't absolutely love the earlier years, but hey, I'm a 3rd-gen guy through and through!

Although looking at the pics on this thread, the '70 front end has really grown on me since I got into Mopars.

I voted 69 as the 70 coronet was bone ugly and the 71 also. 68 was a beauty but limited on engines and options...69 expanded engine and interior options...so 69 first...68 second

70 is one of the uniquest mopars. They said that about the wing cars too (bone ugly) .Plus don't forget 70' and 71's had the 440 six pack as well as the hemi. So the only thing lacking was the lift off hood, which while cool would be old after a while.

My personal choice is the 68, I prefer the taillight style the best. I think it is a great design car overall, a beauty. Funny reading the comments here... I recall when the 70 model came out, it was regarded by many to be the ugliest car by any automaker. It was not popular at all.

I can not stand the grille on the 1970 Super Bee. I will vote for 1969 like my Mr. Norms Bee

'69 for me. The grille just makes them look menacing... Like they are scowling at you... Awesome.

68. Simplified "Vent" front... Flat front and Flat back. Timeless taillights that look sharp and unique. Solid mid 60's sharp and square look meets late 60's muscle (thick quarters). 1968 Coronet types for me. Obviously I love them all, especially the 69. My brother would say 70.

Gotta be a 68 Bee for me. Because I like the clean look (no scoops etc) and because I have one in my garage.

The 69 was the peak year for the Super Bee.
Offered the all the big blocks Mopar had to offer, plus came out with the A-12 version.
Remember seeing them on the street, No one messed with that guy. Just him pulling into the parkinglot where we dragged main made everyone turn their head to look at it.

It might not have been as bad as the made up stories told about it, but it made the all the other guys fear he would pull next to them on a stop light and make them look bad in front of their girlfriend.

Unfortunately I've seen more in the junk yard in the late 70's then I did on the road.

I voted 69, not that I don't like the other years, but I was in high school and our, young, single and cute, new business teacher was driving one. Blue w/white stripe and white interior. I fell in love almost immediately. I also knew I had a better chance getting the car than the gal. :jerk: That car has stuck with me all these years. The 70 model was such a diverse change with the front end, it was hard to take. Today I like it as well, just has taken me a few years to grow into it. :hello2:

I am Bias too! 71 is my favorite!

If it were possible. And If Chrysler had gone another year with the coke bottle bee. I would've like to see 67-70 all thrown into one. The 67 tail lights with the round markers, the 69 1/2 lift off hood and dual side scoops, and the 70 nose with a go wing. Now that would've been a queen bee!

I had a real 71 that was FC7 years ago. 383, column, buckets with buddy and an RAMCHARGER HOOD!!!! This one is not though sad to say. Started life as a 500 :( Had to have anothe Purple 71! :headbang:

Its cool just the same. I'm becoming more and more of a fan of the 3 gen chargers. Isn't annoying how the first thing people say when u tell them u have an old charger"do u have a general lee". I got asked that when i said i had a 72 hemi orange charger. I was like damn, if u could be any more off!
