Convertible well cover Question????

I am installing the trim around my top well and 3 snaps on well cover don't line up. Is this a mistake by Legendary? can't see why the center snap and the end corner snap line up but not the 3 between them. All the rest are dead on?

Well, I guess it didnt work....oops

I would guess it is a mistake by legendary. Does the space match the other side on the car? Good luck getting them to make it right. We have a '66 convertible otherwise I would be happy to compare measurements.

I did try switching the 2 trim pieces and the spacing on each trim is the same so that didn't help. I guess I will just have an upholster fix it since it's not visible when snapped on. Just sucks that these things always happen to me.

In that case we must be related! That is a really nice looking car! I like the super stock scoop.

First thing I would do is call Legendary and ask them what the measurement between the snaps should be and then compare that to what you received. If it's their error and you mention that you're an active member of a couple of Mopar sites, I'm sure they'll bend over backwards to make it right. Be courteous and be open to the fact that maybe it's not their fault. I wouldn't spend any money to fix it until I'd exhausted all possibilities with them.

Sounds like a good plan Dave, I will check it out with Legendary first. It's rare for me to loose my cool when dealing with issues like this. It is what it is and it happens to me all the time. lol
