well....if i had an extra 2.5 million....id have a bunch of cars....not just one! and id have them in a BIG HUGEEEE garage building, with lifts and my own personal mechanic, detailer...and lets toss a call girl in the mix....lol....i would even fly MarPAR in to hand deliver a big box of Delmonicos...( thats a running joke incase ya aint got it yet) :headbang:...and then when he got here...id buy him a car too ! hows that for sharin' the wealth ? ..lol

Great car and cool story. Just like it rolled off the showroom floor. But if I had the money I would fill my yard with projects. I like working on them.

is it me, or is this "survivor" wearing a BC/CC paint job?? or is it all the lights that make the lacquer appear that shiny?
 
Yeah, it does look too good.

I'm pretty sure the original paint was acrylic enamel and was supplied by Sherwin Williams.

acrylic enamel is that shiny, Meep?

in my VERY limited experience, enamel was always dull compared to BC/CC....could have buffed the hell out of it too...
 
It can be sanded and buffed out to look pretty good but it's quite a task. It doesn't respond like lacquer or the polyurethane stuff. No factory paint job I have ever seen looked like this.
 
Sweet looking car but nothing on the planet is worth 2.5 million dollars unless it cures cancer. If I had so much money i could blow 2 million on a car I would do so much else with the money for the good of mankind its not even funny. Sickening is what I call it or the republican way to live.

Really? Republican way to live? You know nothing of what it means to be a republican. And you want to speak of greed? Do you even know what greed is? Because it isn't spending a lot of money on a material object. Greed isn't earning 2 million, its taking a cut of that 2 million without earning it. Theft. Theft via taxes. In other words, the Democrat way. The ones that advocate for those who don't pay their fair share, but put their hands in the cookie jar any way. Thats greed!

I disagree 100%..... stealing comes in all forms.. tax cuts are initiated by both parties but the big difference is one of them does it for the lesser population the other the good of the people. And I was a republican for over 20 yrs so again you are wrong. I see one group as wanting to control and the other as well not really wanting anything and kind of disorganized but at least I dont see evil intent. Simple as that. Neither of them seem to help but at least one tries to help most of the population while the other only cares about a very small specific part of the population. Yes simple greed is the reason. Then you have simple economics which the republicans demonstrated for us for the past 8 years previous to this administration.... Took care of themselves and ran the country into the ground so it could be sold off...

Yes I have seen enough of it and no thank you we dont need it.
