I'm wanting to paint my high beam headlights that translucent red and was told to use Krylon stained glass paint. Anybody used this? And where could I find it, I checked several places with no luck..Thanks

Red facing forward is illegal unless you are a law enforcement officer. The only color you can have on the front of a vehicle is white or amber. Some states may differ. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the warning, I should have figured that! Well guess Im using Amber than lol. Where Can I buy this stuff??

It's all over Ebay. My God. You have the internet right in front of you.

One is Eckerd drug store! lol.. Next time i pick up my medications, im going to grab me a can and try it on a spare set of bulbs. Ive never seen the red ones and i wonder in Pa, if they would even be legal!

My buddy painted his headlights blue, but he used House of Kolor paint. Looks cool though!:headbang: I'm gonna do the same to my Demon one of these days, just haven't decided on a color yet.

Thanks, you really help alot

I think I was light on you. Askin what you did is akin to askin "hay yall, how do you spell this word?" with a frikkin dictionary in your lap.

^ And with the "Where to Buy" link right on the page that I linked for you, too.

VHT also makes translucent paint in a rattle can. I prefer VHT products over Krylon.

I have my high beams tinted with some green tint I found on the internet. I saw a crotch rocket with this and thought I would give it a try on my roadrunner. I think the law in Tennessee is the high beams are ok tinted any color other than red or blue but the low beams must remain clear. I'm not sure of the law but no official has ever commented at all and I drive it almost weekly.

I think you can have green lights in addition to amber in FL.
