In one of the pictures of the steering linkage it looks like the bar that connects to the ball joints and gear box is backwards. Shouldn't the offset in the bar be away from the bottom of the oil pan? I'm not sure but that's how mine is, let me know. Maybe mine is the one backwards?

Thanks guys. Within a month you'll he seeing another thread titled 1969 Roadrunner HEMI restoration!.....gonna start on it real soon!!!

Well guys the car is now 100% done. Took it to its first show last weekend at the All-Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle,PA. Here is a picture of it on the showfield.

I was ecstatic when I got there Sunday morning and discovered that I had placed first in the 1968 Plymouth - Stock class. Was a nice early 25th birthday present for me! Been finishing up a couple small projects at the shop this month. And by end of August I will have the next project underway. Details on that are: 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, HEMI, 4speed, All #'s match,B5 blue with two-tone blue interior, bucket seats, console, black vinyl roof, power disc brake, 4.10 dana, original 2x,*** mile car (forget the exact number I just know its in the twenties)....Want to thank everyone that followed this post from when I started it. And hope you all tune into the next one!

I am sure there will be many others on the site that agree to these comments. Nice work!! Congrats on the 1st place. You deserve it. I just hope mine will come out 1/2 as nice. The Focus you have to complete this restoration task for a person your age is astounding. That is a trailer queen if I ever had seen one.

I wouldn't call it a trailer queen entirely! I did trailer it.to Carlisle
But we drive it around town quite frequently! It probably got close to 400 miles on it already! Whats point of spending all that time and money into making.something nice if all your gonna do is look at it sit in the garage??!!

That is one amazingly beautiful car! Nice job and happy birthday!

Been off the forums for a couple months. Been super busy at the shop and customer work. Haven't had anytime to start the next project. However, I promise as soon as I get the next one underway...there will be tons and tons of pics!! haha

fantastic work!

Beautifull car. I can use that for reference to build mine.

Wow, that is one nicely done car. Top to bottom, inside and out.
I can only imagine the countless hours you put in that car.
You set the bar high for your future projects.
My hat is off to you.
