That is freakin beautiful.

Nice. I normally don't like six pack scoops on early cars, but that works.
I also like the black the way yo did it better than they other way around.
Don't see too many 500's with a buddy seat and column shift.

Wish it had the console but I can deal with it...not nuts about the exhaust tips..they gotta go and the red floor mats. It has 4000 miles since all the drivetrain was rebuilt. 727 with B&M shift Kit, 3.91 Posi, Flowmasters, Original interior, Vinyl top is in excellent condition too. Its a radio delete car also, has the Buddy Seat, with Buckets and Tinted Glass, the gas tank is new too! It also comes with the original hood....also painted and its perfect. Looks like I may have to change my user name to "Red67500"!

looking good badmopar67

i like the stance depicted in that first photo.

do you have anything special suspension wise? non-stock leaf springs? front torsion bar lowered a little?

thanks,

watermelon

Thanks, just new stock mopar performance rear leaf springs and set the front end 1" above the tires before I got it aligned, I did shorted the rear 9/16s on both sides to get 275/60/15 with 8" rims with 4 1/2 back spacing to tuck in the fenderwells at stock ride height with no rubbing

Here is a couple of pics of my pile. Plans are to paint it black but leave the interior citron gold. The question I have is, do I paint the inside of the doors black or leave them citron gold? Is it gonna look weird with the black/gold combo?

Sounds like a good looking car in the making.. JMO but i think a little black on the inside of doors would actually break the gold up and make it look good. Black and gold go together, black interior gos good with any color.. Good luck hope you'll post a couple pictures when you finish! nice car, love those wheels.

This is a 67 Coronet 500 that I am picking up in trade....learned to drive in a 66 Coronet 440...this may be a little more sporty! 360/380 crate engine and one repaint 20 years ago.

AWESOME car. congrats! Its photos on this thread that keep me working on mine!

BTW, the blue coronet is just gorgeous. (I might be a little biased)

Of course it's gonna look weird balck with a citron int:thumbsup:...I'm sure you'll get a lot of "whoa"'s.

Other than the jambs, I'd leave it all citron inside.

Have you seen how sharp a black with metallic red int looks? ...or black with bronze?

Somebody else on FBBO did a black one w/gold interior - beautiful looking color combo.

Remember guys, citron is about as metallic green as it is gold.

I think it's gonna be killer.

citron.jpgSo I was looking on http://www.1966-67chargerregistry.com/list/?year=66 to get a pic of a citron int...

...and it apears they bult quite a few Chargers in citron with black interior, but I only see one in black with a citron interior, and there's no pic.

Yellow with citron seems to have been somewhat popular..eew!

Here are a couple pics of my 67 I sold. Sold it to someone in Midland, MI... Never saw it again. Another I wish I still had. Need to get another.

This is what my interior looks like, green dash and green/gold seats. I want to change it.
