My Newest purchased , not mopar but a bastard adopted step child . 31 NASH rat rod

Oh I love that! I have been thinking more and more on a hot rod or buying something not original like an A or B body maybe even an E body and have some fun hot rodding it out.

I love rat rods too.

Great looking car man keep us posted.

Cool car, definitely something different. Looks a little tight in the cockpit. Now you got something to drive to those "Kar Kulture" events.

yup it will be a local beat around car show cruiser as i dont think i could do a lot more then an hour in it . The guy who picked it up for me is my size . He said he fit but would wanna spend more then an hour in it . Said it rode very well suspinsion wise but just not much room and his head was right at the ceiling .

I want it! That thing is awsome. Had a 37 plymouth realy miss that car.

OK..... i buy a freekin javelin and now EVVVVVVVRYBODY...gonna follow suit with the AMC's ...nashes.,,,,and hudsons?.....lol....i love that car dude....nice pick! congrats!

Neat but i can see a few things right off the bat that i would change.Sits to high in the front with the paralell leaf springs, either needs more of a drop in the axle or switched out with a Model A type front suspension with split wishbones.Or a cheaper fix would be to get a shorter radiator and cut down the shroud and it will make it appear to be lower up front.Other than that its pretty cool.I've built 3 of them and they are fun.

Nice Stuie!!! she looks like a lot of fun!!! congrats!

Cool little hot rod moparstuart! It will be way cool with a old hemi in it!

Whenever i do the radiator in them i take and run masking tape from the cowl to the shroud and it gives you a idea if it flows with the rake on the body.I here ya on the chevy engine, been there and can you say cookie cutter.Buick nailhead would be pretty cool also.If your set on a hemi pick up a Speedway Motors catalog, they have some adaptors for the hemi to GM trans.

I have to find a chevy expert this new rebuilt 71 350 supposidly has hi dollar 327 double hump heads and scarce rams horns center drop exhaust manifolds see if i can sell this thing for any money or if it just another cheapo 350

Heads are the hipo 327 camel humps, there are 2 variations of them 461 and 462 casting with one having a 1.94 intake valve and the other a 2.02.the numbers are under the valve cover.Cant remember which is which off hand but the one with the larger valve could be a corvette head and be more desireable. The center dump rams horn manifolds are worth something depending on the casting number,i think used till the late 50s when chevy went with the motor mount on the side of the block. If the block itself has the last 3 digits of the casting on the rear flange of 010 its 99 percent of the time a 4 bolt main block pickup engine with high nickel content and they make pretty good builders. If i were you Stu i would piece the engine out and most likely double what you would get selling complete

After looking at the manifolds again they are 2 drivers side type and this type was used till 1967 on all chevy small block v8 cars.So nothing to special there

being fresh and the fact i dont want anything off it so i'm selling it complete can i get 2 k out it wanna drag ???? it would be a little better then a crate as its totally complete and they can actually hear it and drive it ???

Looks cool. Glad you are saving it from 350 mediocrity. There are a lot of engine choices these days. A 1st gen hemi would be awesome.

I would have held out for a Cornbinder pickup with 3" Stacks. lol

Wow! Cool beans Stu....neat car. Congrat's!

Are you gonna start calling everyone Daddy'O from here on out?

That is slick Stu. You're gonna feel really couped up after all that open air cruising in your bird.

:rolling::laughing9: :laughing4: It's got a chebbie motor..:black suburban: But seriously will be nice with a hemi :headbang:
