I bought a 69 1\2 RR A12 right out of the showroom in 1969.

I found the car last month within 8 miles of my home and less than 12 miles from where I bought it (Fiermonti CP) of Lemoyne Pa.

I checked with the A12 club when they hosted the A12 meet a Chrysler's at Carlisle and they did not have any record of it.

I need to contact them to give them the up date, if you have their web site address please let me know.

Steve

Congratulations on finding your baby!...if it actually happend. No photos...then it never happened.

Posting photos direction:
- Hit the 'Reply' in my post
- Just above where you type your response there are a row of buttons. Click the 'Insert Image' icon...it's the 'square'...4 buttons over from the 'smiley face'.
In the window that pops up, select 'From Computer' or 'From URL' located in the top of the pop up window, depending on where the photo's located.
If it's 'From Computer', hit the 'Select Files' button at the bottom of the pop-up window then select the photo from your files.
If it's 'From URL' paste in the link.
Then upload. Easy Peazy.

So you found it. Did you buy it back or just find it? What's the point here?

Thanks for all of the registry information.

What the point is............... that I found It. Did you every buy a new car in the 60's?
And still know it's whereabouts?
It is not for sale.

I get it....! Some folks might be a little dense about what emotions a find like that would mean.

I too special ordered an A12 runner in March 69.... The car has not surfaced since sold in 72. To find out it still exested would be a big thrill to me and owning it again would not be that important.

Kind of neat to talk to the guys that ordered these cars new. The origional owner of my car called me several years ago and had some valuable paperwork like the large yellow Final line hardware build sheet that he wanted to send me. He had some old pics of the car and actually had a pic of it on the railcar that brought it into town. Unfortionatly the car suffered a carb fire when it was new and was put on blocks for years waiting for parts from Chrysler to repair. I have all the pictures and insurance claim forms from that time. The origional owner was a parts manager and ordered this car very early.

Your picture looks exactly like mine DID in 1969.
I'll be posting a picture of me the car the trophy and (MISS MARYLAND AS GO GO)When I won my class at YORK US 30 in 1970. I beat a LS6 Chevelle in the finals.

It is in a wet garage.........has been repaired and painted with all new interior......the entire drive line including all of the suspension is out of it and the car is up on jack stands.
He said that he is saving it for his retirement in 10 years. It will be a total rust bucket by then.
There is actually water running under the car, the garage is under ground level and built into a bank. The new? interior is covered with mold and turning green.
Nothing I can do at this point. I just finished restoring my last Mopar this week (check out the pictures I posted 64 SAVOY). And I have 5 other collector cars already done. I enjoy each one and take them to different shows throughout the summer. + I have a new Kawasaki Dresser motorcycle that I take on summer evening cruses with my wife.
I HAD a new Harley in 2009..a real POS...........I'D rather ride my Kawasaki than PUSH my Harley. LOL
Anywho, watch for the picture.
Thanks for looking
Steve

I think it's neat!

I do to, very much so. It seems people took my original comment as negative. All I meant was the OP's first post was very open ended about his intentions. I was simply curious. I guess some people have nothing better to do than assume the worst. That's not how I meant it.

To the OP. Good luck. I hope you make contact.

Yeah, I found my 1970 Challenger RT/SE in Ohio 12 yrs after I sold it.
That WAS a neat day!
Wish I had it today....sigh!

I'm not able to register the car with the A12 Registry.
You must be the current owner of the car to register.

got mine back too and it felt great.
