2 Bee or not to 2 Bee...

don't mind him Stuie...he's all distraught over his camel running away from home.....

Got the dash out, man that was a task! Yes orange is my favorite, honestly i had my mind set on butterscotch, but the ole lady would not let that happen.

Cool project.

It makes my back hurt just looking at it. LOL

Anyone out there that owns a real A12 car care to share all the small things that would help with the A12 clone process would be great!

My car is real and is unrestored mostly. It has a replacement motor but it has all of its correct parts. I am willing to take pictures of anything you may have a question about but I bet it would be much faster and easier for you to go to the LOH playground. Thats a forum for A12 cars and is an endless resource for those cars.

ya know....in my opinion...that GREEN is a good looking color too!

I have nothing against that color at all, except my 70 was that color, my cuda was that color, my 70 satelite was that color, and my fathers 69 bee is that color.

Well usually i'd lean towards the media/soda blasting, but this one was so rusty we had to go with good ole sand blasting. We did use a special "soft" sand, it came out really nice.

Blast looked like it turned out pretty good. She's an honest car now, that's for sure....not gonna be hiding anything on ya.

Great looking Bee! I can't wait to start making some progress on my '69 Bee! What are your plans the the hood that was on the car? The top side looks good but what about the underside? Thanks!

Justin

Sorry, the hood is going to my father for his 69 coronet.

Well its been almost a year since i've posted anything on this project, so I thought I'd share some update photos. All the metal work, trunk floors, extensions, rear package tray, dutchman, rear floor, main floor, front floor, 4 speed hump, and drivers side front inner are done. I've got the patch panels i've needed for the quarters on, just gotta finish up some body work on those. I layed down the black on the bottom of the car, the inside of the car, and the outer fenders. I also layed down the hemi orange on the engine bay and door jambs. Its been a long journey so far, but a fun one. Would be alot further but i'm also restoring my wifes challenger at the same time. Hope you all enjoy the pictures!
