If i was interested in doing a swap from a 318 to a 360 i read that the left (driver side) or the right (passenger side) motor mount would have to be different. Now if there both small blocks why wouldn't they both use the same mounts? Does anybody know which mount would be different and or which one is the same as the 318 and why is the mount different? Thanks for any replys.

The 318 mounts have 4 bolts on either side that bolt to the tabs on the block. The 360 has 3 bolts on one side but the other side is the same as 318. I forget which side has the 3 tabs though. On a truck, im pretty sure you can use a 360 mount on a 318, but not a 318 mount on a 360.

I think the mounting lugs on the 360 are a half inch wider. I just used washers for spacers iirc . And i believe it was the pass side.

Drivers side, checked the book, 273/318 is different than 340/360. Don't know why. Pass side is the same.

Yup, driver's side is a bit different but a small spacer or washers can be used.....same number of bolts tho.

I knew they was different but i dont iirc too good.lol

They're different cause Chrysler made um like that. Purdy simple.
