Hi,

I am restoring a 68 Roadrunner Coupe. The door glass runs in the channel of the vent window on the front side. On the top of this channel, there is a rubber/bumper which is screwed to the channel. Does anybody know if this part is available at the part dealers or how it is named?

Thanks,
Thorsten

Sorry praesi this part is not remade by anyone. Your best bet is seeing if someone on this board has one in decent condition you can get

Pretty crazy how many more parts are available these days compared to just a few years back.

Is this what you're looking for?

With the price, i'd be tempted myself to find some in the parts section as well.

Hi, thanks to both of you! The description of the megapartsusa sounds good but need to recheck on the GTX of my buddy. Will try the parts search first.

Son of a gun...I didn't know those were being repopped. A little steep for a couple pieces of rubber. Mine only have a little tear in one so I'll just be reusing mine.

Hi eagleone1983,

can you confirm that those are the parts? My only reference is the GTX with the parts installed and so I can´t really compare them...

Thanks,
Thorsten

A little steep for a couple pieces of rubber.

I hear ya....no way I would fork out that either. I bet most guys selling parts on FBBO would send a guy a set for the price of the postage.

They sure look to be the parts praesi..Look just like the set on my '69 Roadrunner

Yeah Preasi so are the parts you need but it looks like those don't come with a screw and I can't remember if the screw head was especially thin so that the glass wouldn't hit. Also on that same side of the door glass you're going to have a felt covered strip which runs in that vent window channel. Do you have new ones of those as well? Then tend to not last the 40 plus year trip.

i have some good used ones with the screw PM me

Hi all, many thanks for your replies!

Yes, I have the glass chanel weatherstrip mounted with the old clips. The old strips were broken into pieces... I installed the vent window and door window and then I realized that there is something missing on the top of the channel. A two hour search in the garage began but without positive result ;-(
