I'm seriously considering building a Daytona clone using the Vega rear window and Dayclona parts. Does anyone have any dimensions on where the rear glass sits, the trunk opening begins, etc., etc?

you gotta do the trunk lid first . then that will tell you where the plug goes

I realize this is an old thread but for anyone else who might look at this for information on the placement of the rear window on a Daytona Clone I am posting this. You can start with the stock deck lid. If you measure from the back edge forward on each side you can mark it at 21 5/8" . Measure at the center and go forward 21 1/2". Now take a flexible strait edge and connect all three marks and you will have the arc of the front edge of the Daytona deck lid. Once you have trimmed the deck lid front edge you can now position the bottom edge of your glass 12" up from the center of the forward edge of the deck lid.
