Pulled the alternator out of my 70 RR (383 + A/C car);
Tried to "google" the numbers on it but cannot find any info on it.
Numbers stamped on it are
4111973
32

46264

Can anyone tell me what the amp output is?

I checked in the alternator section of the 70-71 Mopar Parts catalog and did not see any of the two numbers listed.....assume it is from a different year...probably after 1971.......parts Catalog shows these:(Double Grove pulley type) for a 70-71;
3438176-37 amp
3438177-50 amp
3438178-50 amp
3438179-60 amp
3438180-60 amp

(just bought the car and finding parts from later years...so far the radiator is from a 80's Mopar....)

thanks

Does it have the 2 blade connectors in addition to the battery wire? If so its probably the 60 amp. Yours need rebuilt? I know of a guy around here that rebuilds them, his name is Tim and he works at Auto Performance Electric on 11 mile rd, east of 75.

Yes. it has the two spade connectors in addition to the main screw on connector.......plans are to get a larger alternator (100 amp)....going to add a nice stereo system and down the line replace the factory A/C system under hood components with an upgraded after market system (not sure if they require more electrical power to work) and a Gear Venders Overdrive unit also which does have some sort of electrical connections for it....also looking into replacing the front bucket seats with a set of seats out of a late model Chrysler 300 and will also need power for them....so a larger alternator is going to be a must...will give them a call to see if they can upgrade the alternator I have to a 100 amp.....thanks for the info
