Going to start restoring this next week.
Paid $20,000, everything original ( i think) except front fender and front seat. 70,000 miles, was stored for 15 years of it's life at various times. I am 3rd owner. Was told first owner swapped out bench to buckets. Second owner put a bench in but I think it is a Duster bench.
Hood and Trunk perfect no dents, replacing both quarters, both rockers, driver door skin and rear portion of passenger fender.
Body, paint and new carpet from friend $6500
New top- $850
front and rear seat upholstery $1000
Make it a runner- total around $29,000 should be driving it in 2 months
I live in Seattle area so I haven't been able to drive it since I bought it a month ago
because the top is gone

Great project and good luck on it,send plenty of pics with your thread for us to see.

Nice find. Good luck with the project. I notice the engine is turquoise. Did you happen to verify the VIN on the block? Have you found a broadcast sheet yet?

WOW! it's going to be a nice car when done. great find.I see the engine ground looks Orange, is the Origional #'s matching engine in it yet?
just wondering.

Engine #s match, would love to know the original engine color and if it came with a bench or buckets. think it has a duster bench in it now. It will be solid blue ( original) with white interior. Everything else is original except driver fender, it is yellow under the primer. No broadcast sheet, it had the build sheet in it from the car before it in the production line, guy I got it from thinks they changed seats at the last minute.

hi ,very nice ride good luck with your project :icon_thumleft:

That will be a cool car when done. You should start a resto. thread to keep us posted. Hopefully there aren't to many hidden surprises. Here's a picture of mine for inspiration.
