You certainly have some work ahead of you, Good save though. And Welcome!

Welcome to the site. Looks like another bringing back from the dead restoration thread is in order. Have fun with it and get some more pics. posted for us.

Hey, a whole Charger for $500? OK, it may not "buff right out", but great score! Welcome to FBBO!

Good find, looks like you got some good usable (restorable) interior parts.

Yes, But I am not going to put any of it back, yet. For now I plan to go with 2 race buckets, aluminum panels in back and black carpet up front. Maybe even a custom dash. But I am going to save all the original stuff in case I ever want to go back stock, or it may help sell the car if I ever do.

I really want to mini tub it but struggling with that decision since it will basically ruin it for ever going back stock. I've never had a car with tires bigger than stock tubs so this is my best and last chance.

$500 bucks ....wow real score ..amazing...I really want one but cant touch them up north .... it would look great as a stock charger but its your cash your spending...welcome

DK,

You have two choices, 1) get offset spring hangers and put some really large rubber in it (you can get 325/50-15 in a stock wheel house 2) Mini-tub it to get frame rails, put a spring relocation kit in it and run some type of sportsman tire. Either will be huge looking. If you take your time and use the stock tubs from in the trunk you cannot tell easily. Now when you look underneath you will see the springs going into the frame rail. But the originial spacing rear could go back in and cover some of the frame work.

Does the car have the originial numbers block and trans? Is it a real 4 bbl car? To me it really doesn't matter, it is your car, but I saw your comment about keeping the originial parts, so I'm offering some opinions.

Have fun with it.

Yes, it is a 4 bbl car but it had single exhaust. And yes all numbers match. Thnx for info on tubs. I need that.
