can muffler be reversed?

anyone know if dynomax ultra flows can be turned around i need a center inlet offset outlet and they only have a offset inlet and centre outlet.
they look like they could be by there design and i cannot find anything on google whether you can or cant

I don't think so....I have two vehicles with Ultra Flows......best to check with Dyno Max to be sure though

yes, the ultraflows can be reversed since they are a straight thru design...

The sound will be unchanged either way on the ultraflow muffler...look at the internal design, their is no way the sound can change by reversing the flow with this design..

Don't install the muffler backwards !!!! The air will enter the engine thru the exhaust pipe... the burnt gases will go out thru the carburetor... the engine will rotate counter-clockwise.... and your car will only move in reverse !!! And if alot of people did this, the world will stop turning on its axis... (... hey... it could happen in... The Twilight Zone... )

Usually, if a muffler is reversible, it says so in the description. That's a big feature. It does not say that anywhere on the Dynomax site.
