Someone dropped a lot of cash (and/or labor) in that 62 sedan.

I'd take the 63 Fury, though...

There is a lot of money in those cars yep, id take the 63, but im a bit bias, i try to appreciate all the time and effort that gos into these cars, Mopar can be my favorite but, im glad there are others on the other side of the fence that takes the initiative to not let the others rot away..

Unfortunately, that's usually how it goes. At least the Mopar was there in full force.

Outside of one show thats for Mopars only, This is usually how it works around here with a car show, 15-20 68-69 Chevelles, once in awhile a 66 or 67 sneaks in but the last i was at one, My 66 was the only one.. Then you have nearly every Mustang from 65 to 85.. Hate to admit it but its more often then not, of course i don't go to all of them and can only speak of the few around this area.. Im told its not much different north of us either though, even the all Mopar one you'll see more trucks and vans then cars, the last time we were there a couple years ago.. Didn't go last summer and was told by one guy with a 69 GTX that we didn't miss anything..

I've entered my Road Runner into four shows down here, and I've been the only Road Runner at any of them, one of two B bodies at any of them, and one of 10 vintage Mopars at all of them, and I like it that way. I've been parked next to a lot of high-dollar, top-notch, show cars, and my car consistently gets more attention than any of the neighbors' cars. The other owners are all busy squirting their cars with insta-shine crap and constantly on the watch for dust, and I'm just kicking back with spectators talking about Mopars. The other owners get lots of technical comments like "what such and such did you use to get this whatever to work", and I get lots of people walking by and stopping with that reminiscing look in their eyes and they start telling us all about how they or someone they knew had an old Mopar and what a great car it was. I enjoy having those conversations much better than talking specs all day. :)

We Mopar people are a class into our own at most shows. We are a different breed. Usually the class of the cruise in or car show. How many 71 Chevys, Cameros or Mustangs can you look at. they are all the same.

I like being the only one with a 64 Sport Fury. I don't want to see copies of my car at shows. Even the Mopar shows I'm usually the only 64.Plus, I just like being different.

I'm a hands down odd ball mopar, went to a show last saturday and was the only a body [66 barracuda] we parked with a 63 fury vert,63 fury hardtop and there was a 68/9 charger hemi 4 speed and a 7? roadrunner 440 sixpack. I like being the only mopar and futhermore a big window cuda.

First, I have to say i love that yellow on your car, really gos good with that year and model, I don't think ive ever seen one painted like yours, real nice...
My wife always asked me why its so hard to find a part im looking for or selling parts i do have around this area, i never did before with other things, I told her that the other was Chevy stuff, 60% of the guys in this area are the Bow-tie brigade, 30% are Ford guys which leaves 10% of Mopar guys that are the elite of the bunch, I kid with her about it, but i swear its the truth here! It was the same back in the 70's when we used to cruise the streets and did some street racing, me and one other guy had Mopars the majority of all the others were Chevy and some Ford.

Just to be honest i had in the 70's my share of Chevy's i/we cruised around in to.. But the Mopars, and only one i had would out run the Chevy cars, my Impala SS included i have to admit, but it was purdy lol..
