Just curious....I see the one charger has a buddy seat with no console. How did they handle the back seat area when there was no full length console?

Yea..it's actually a 66 car, but I changed the interior to non-console 67 style...just because I could and when you park both my cars at shows, they can see the difference between 66 & 67 interiors

I have everything stored in the garage to put it back to stock if I wish. The only thing I miss with the 67 interior without a console is the clock.

Bryan, Do you have any pictures of the back seat area of the one with the buddy seat? Are the rear seats still buckets and do they flip down? Without the full length console, how did the factory finish out the area between the seats?

best I got right now. The used a short console in the rear of 67. has ashtray in it. But notice I still have the longer 66 center arm rest..I now have the correct 67 style...it's about half as short

yes, the rear seats still fold down

Thanks Bryan. I'm putting together a 67 belvedere 4 door and picked up some 66 charger parts that included the seats and the rear pan that the seat backs attach to. I ended up selling the full length console but still have the seats and pan. I'm already putting buckets and a short console in the car, and thought it would be neat to add the charger rear seats to the 4 door (it's a 4 door....I got to do what I can to make it look cool). Your picture gives me a good idea on how to finish out the center section. Mine won't need to flip down because I don't need to get to the trunk area, so I can make something a little more permanent for the center console.
