Finally on it's way....

Recommendations from past customers (at least ones who aren't relatives of the shop owner) are the gold standard. If someone's not happy they will love to tell you about it Thanks for the info and we'll all be excited to watch the progress. Take lots of pictures.

Is it just me, or does that car just look cool and tough as hell just how it sits right now? Especially under the hood. I'm sure it'll be great restored, too - great car.

Awesome! It must be a huge relief to finally get it going, I know it was painful to walk past my car as it sat next to the shop for a year before it's turn finally came up. Best of luck and keep the pics coming:toothy10:

No, you're not alone, I'm one of those fruitcakes that loves the look of things under that hood. Just the worn patina look of the valve covers has me drooling but I'm silly with that I suppose

hemi*guy, That looks like a sweet car, along with a mean looking power plant in it.. Good luck!

That's a great looking car. It's got all the good stuff. Be sure to stop in at the shop on a regular basis and take alot of pictures. Keep us posted.

Thanks for all the kind words, will keep everyone posted if anything exciting happens.
