In a van, down by the river,
I want to run 10 " cragars on the rear of my 69 RR. The standard back spacing is 4 1/4. Is any one doing this combo with a 275/60/15 tire ? And does it rub ? Also if anybody has some pictures of 10" cragars on there 68 - 70 RR would be great.

I had 10 inch Cragars on my 70 Bee with 12 inch bias 50 series tires. I had air shocks that I kept so the quarter openingwas about 3 inches above the tire. It only rubbed on SEVERE cornering while also going over a bump. Not sure what the back spacing was, but they were pretty deep in hte front. I Also think 68-70 Dodge wheelwells are just a bit larger than Plymouth.

I don't think that backspacing will work. I have 10 inch rims with 275/60/15s and 5.5 backspacing and they fit perfect on my 70. I think they will stick out too far

Kd I have 10" prostars with 295/50/15's on my 69 roadrunner with a 4.5 inch back space and with the inner lip rolled they fit perfect. I did have some rubbing up in the wheel well on big bumps and people in the back. But I put on some calvert traction bars and it lifted the rear a good couple of inches to get the clearence I needed. Hope this helps man.

Any improvement with those Cal-Tracs vs the old pinion snubber trick?

A world of difference man! Nothing but solid plant, and they look good too!

Don't have Cragars but I do have 10" rims with 5,5bs and 295/50s on them. No rubbing...

all that meat hanging out back in the smoke house looks great Ken!

You will need a 15x10 with 5.5 backspacing. You can special order that backspacing. Give Summit Racing a call. I believe you just add -SPEC at the end of the part number for the custom build. They will be able to take care of it for you.

What about on the front? I have a 68 RR and want to run the 15x8 and not sure on BS. The wheel is offered in 4" and 4 1/2" backspace. Also, tire size? Thanks!
