I have a 1968 GTX with black and gold interior.

Anybody know the paint code (or a close match) for factory interior door and garnish panels? Mine are black, shiny, but I wouldn't call it high gloss. I'm not talking the black suede, these are shinier than that. This is for restoration, so I'm trying to get as close as reasonable.

Also, what is the correct vinyl dye for gold arm rests? I don't particularly like the color, but my original door panels are gold too, and black arm rests just don't look right. I've found a few colors out there that correspond to *ord *ustang colors, but nothing found for B-body Mopars yet.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I recovered the front seats in my Charger. I only did the fronts, the rears are pretty nice yet but needed to look "fresh" like the fronts. I got SEM Color Coat in Satin black. Just sprayed one today to check color against the new front covers. They match really nice.

thanks, detmatt, I had been to Herb's site before, but hadn't run across those colors. That gold dye should be just the right color.

I made a match to the black at local Napa paint store, I'm going to see how close it matches the factory finish.

Gpuller, I have some SEM Landau black, I was going to repaint (dye) my blue visors black, I haven't tried it yet, tho.

I wasn't sure that the satin black was going to be the right color, thought the landau black was what I was going to have use. The landau black is a gloss black.
