Building my Superbird....

:). Popped the hood and inner hood out of the molds and fit the air grabber section onto the hood...it'll need a bit of cutting and modifying to work. I'll be following in Stuarts steps with his steel AG hood mods.

Beautiful work ! It is inspiring !
thank you for posting and sharing !
I am really trying to get better at my metalforming skills , what tools could you not live without ? The planishing hammer and english wheel ?
I only have a Tig, oxy/acetyline, shear, brake, leather bag, and hammer and dollies
feel free to PM

Thanx. The Shrinker/Stretcher by far is the tool that makes it all possible. I used a slip roller to form the fender curve and the shrinker to curve it in, same with the wing shell...formed the the base lip using a tank roll bead die, formed the curvature on the wheel and used the shrinker to curve it in. Sounds like you have plenty of good tools Fan.
Stu do you have the AG setup ...under your hood ie air box etc?

yes sir i do

Need Help. Pics Attached from Sarnia Ontario. Guy claims his Daytona is a 70... I know no 70's were made by factory. Anybody recognize the car. Claim he found it in Southern Cali. Fender tag pic also. He claims to be putting a Viper drive train in it.
