I agree. That's why I put it on Ebay, especially with the similar RR that was up to $37k !!!!
in the last 5 months I have 3 of my cars , sold them all for my asking price . Stick to your guns in my opnion the market is coming back up .

Abe...I am surprised to still see it for sale!!! Really nice car and if it were a 4 speed I would have bought it last year when you and I first talked about it....but then again..if it were a 4 speed then you wouldn't be selling it!!

Good luck with the auction.

Mike

Have you got some pictures of the car in your avatar posted somewhere? Really sharp.

Just found this, haven't checked it out though. [h=5]MyMopar
[/h][h=5]eBay warning of the day. Doing a quick check of the VIN on Google brings you to this link.

The car has sustained Flood damage and has a SALVAGE Title. Car looks nice, but buyer beware.

Nice catch !!!! Seems like it could have been a victim of Hurricane Sandy. I went through it here in Jersey, but am on high ground. Only lost power for 6 days. My RR was nice and cozy, warm and dry in the garage though!!!!

There's no 'L' in the end of the VIN. The last six should all be numbers.

Look at the pic of the fender tag on EBAY..the last 6 are 129823..maybe the vin they entered was a mistake or wrong on purpose.....

awesome 70RR.. wish i could afford it...whats ur reserve? 20k

by the time you take a hit and trade down, just keep the car you have and put a 4 gear in it. the reality of it is anything you buy you'll end up spending additional money on it getting it how you want it anyway. yours is a beautiful car but there meant to be driven. No disrespect but its ultimately a 383 automatic car, if it were a v-code or a hemi i would understand not messing with it.

and your car is way nicer than the other one!!

I have to say that I TOTALLY agree with the above.

If you are happy with your car except that it is an auto then do the conversion. You never know what you are going to REALLY get with the next car until it is too late.

Don't let the purist tell you it will ruin the value of your car because on a 383 car it will not. Just look at the value difference between autos and 4 gears and see even if they are known conversions if it makes a difference to the buyer. In fact, if the car you currently own had been converted from auto to 4 gear would YOU have passed on it?

Does the fender tag on that other car look wrong to anyone else? Digets look funny to me! :eusa_eh:

No. It is an L.A. built car and they used a different font on the fender tags.

Sorry..My Bad...I copied and pasted w/o looking.
Fixed the original post i made with correct Numbers
I also had to change the Letter 0 in RM23NO to a Number 0 then i came up with the Autobidmaster Link..Neat little trick i am sure!

Jersey !!

Now you guys have me thinking !!!!!! LOL Well, if nobody wants to pay me what I need to get out of my RR, that might be plan B.

Hey, it's @ $20,100.00 !!

How much are you looking for ??

:icon_pidu:

Where is the car at?
Jersey City? North Bergen !!

I'm from Jersey ! :icon_thumleft: Carteret to be exact.

Will you bring the car to Oregon for me?
:headbang:

Mike.

Hey Mike-
I grew up in North Bergen !!! You go to NBHS? What years?

My reserve is mid-30's. The other RR sold for $37k. Horseless Carriage delivers !!!!! -Abe

Well, it never came near to my reserve. I do have 2 interested parties from ebay, one from NY and the other from PA, who want to come see the car this weekend though, so we'll see what happens. Otherwise, that 4 speed conversion is looking mighty tempting !!!!!!! LOL

I hope you get your asking price. You can't build that car for 36K. I sold my Charger last year to a great guy who said it was in better condition in person and loves it. I had a few Jackalls from here trying to discount the car because the radio and glove box door weren't installed. Tire Kickers without question; and lacking jobs that they are online during the day spreading doubt on cars they can't afford.

Good Luck with your sale!! Awesome Color...
