I have a 74' Dodge and it has the Chrysler electronic ignition and I am sick of all the problems I have with it so I have decided to go with MSD equipment. Can anyone tell me how I should wire this in. I am pretty sure it has something to do with the wires going to the ballast resistors but I am not 100%. This is my car that I drive everyday so I cannot really afford to mess this up.

I don't think you can use the MSD ready to run distributor with the MSD box. As far as the ballast resistor goes you can eliminate it with the MSD stuff. The wires you need to tie together to make it all work are the "start" and "run" circuits that will hook into the small red wire on the MSD box (if that is what you use to power the coil). This will essentially give the MSD box power while cranking and while the key is in the "on" position. I would call MSD and ask if the distributor and box are compatible.
