Mark here, introducing my recently purchased 71 GTX. An older restoration that was missing a few pieces and has been altered some along the way. 440 4 BBL was changed to 6 BBL. 8-3/4 rear end changed to 4.10 gear. Purpleshaft .509 x 292 deg cam installed. Front brakes changed to disc. I've found all the missing parts except the rocker moldings. Clean and straight except for some rust at the bottom rear of the door skins and the rocker skins.

Welcome, I'm in SE MI also and that's a great looking car you got there.

nice 71 GTX, welcome to FBBO

Welcome from Flushing, west of what's left of Flint. LOVE that color, especially on that body. Quite the cast of characters and semi-professional comedians here, along with the best advice you'll ever get.

...At least from an automotive standpoint.

Thanks. Wasn't sure about the bronze at first, but it grew on me very quickly.

The fender tag was "lost", and I don't know if broadcast sheets are in it. I put it in winter storage the day I bought it.

I imagine I'll add white belt line stripes and white hash marks on the hood. If I can't find any documentation, I'll probably add the transverse hood stripes.

I'm looking into having some custom made repro rocker moldings. The 4.10 will have to go after I have a little fun with it. Probably dump the rallye wheels in favor of some Torque Thrust.

Very nice GTX....welcome from just north of detroit...

Welcome from Three Rivers Michigan. Great looking ride.

Welcome fellow Detroit area Mopar fan! Nice car and familiar, was it advertised on Craigslist?
